Death, Spring, Reflections

How amazing death is; it's not that I'm enthusiastic about it; it is that I am amazed by it.  For some death becomes a long process; for others death comes quickly and succinctly. Death is efficient. Death leaves an empty place at the table, and silence replaces soft whispers.

My father-in-law, aged 96, passed away on February 21, 2011, and my mother-in-law, aged 94, on May 7, 2011.  Both lived full, vibrant lives, and enjoyed raising their children and their grandchildren.  They were married for 70 years.

God Bless Them...
